Garments made from Einband are stretchable and are difficult to measure before washing. It is recommended to make a swatch, rinse it and block it and measure it when dry to find the exact gauge and needle size to achieve accurate measurements in the finished piece. After washing the wool becomes soft and manageable.
Einband is 100% Icelandic Wool. It comes in a 50g (1.7oz) balls. Each ball is approximately 225m (245 yard) long.
